Basil Pasja Wicker Basket (with Senna Universal Clamp)

Features:

• The universal Senna clamp closure is adaptable for fitting to a broad range of bike racks with tubing diameter of 6-20mm and a width if min 14cm and max 16cm. There are 3 openings in the outer two counter brackets, through which you can adjust the width slightly by means of a hex key.
• Convenient attachment of a harness to secure your precious cargo during the ride. Please use a soft harness to avoid the potential for jumping and dangling. We recommend either tethering from a chest attachment point or a strap such as the Restrap Strap threaded through the back of a harness.
• Materials: Woven natural wicker basket with a lightweight ply timber base.
• Includes a grey padded basket insert.

Mounting notes:

Before mounting, be sure to check the load rating of your existing rear rack (should be stamped somewhere on the rack) and check that the rack is securely attached to your bike.
When positioning the basket, allow approximately 5cm clearance behind the back of the saddle for bum overhang.

We also recommend you measure the length of your rack and visualise how much overhang there will be beyond the end of the rack.  Too much weight behind the rear axle on a light weight bike may make your bike back heavy when mounting and dismounting.  The installation of a high basket on the back of a step-over bike will prevent the rider from kicking over the back when mounting and dismounting.
