The Electra Townie® 7D Original is the best-selling bike in the US for a reason. It is a stylish, simple, fun, comfortable and easy to ride recreational bike.
The patented Flat Foot Technology® sets the saddle position further behind the pedal position so that you can achieve adequate stretch on the pedals but also touch the ground easily when you come to a stop. It’s the perfect option for a less confident rider or someone with a leg issue or someone who is just after a comfortable beach cruiser.
Load-rated for riders up to 120kg and fitted with a comfy saddle and cushiony balloon tyres, they’re great for our larger riders. For our taller riders, a ‘tall’ version is available in the matte black.
Seven gears is enough to take on all but the steepest of hills and they fair well in a salty environment (stainless spokes, alloy handlebars and frame, rust-resistant fixings, etc). Great value for money!
