Key features of the S2 include: a light-weight double-butted chromoly steel frame, 3×8 Shimano Acera gears, comfortable moderate saddle, aluminium handlebar, double wall aluminium rims with stainless steel spokes, and high quality, puncture-resistant Vittoria Randonneur 40-622 tyres.

The S2 Disc is supplied with hydraulic disc brakes but is otherwise the same spec as the S2 rim.
