The Gauss is a a simple, high performance, mountain bike pedal from Japanese pedal specialists MKS.
The Gauss is a double-sided fiberglass reinforced plastic available in three colors that has 10 replaceable spikes per side spread over its 105mm x 103mm body to provide a stable and an easy-to-catch pedal surface. The spikes are detachable using a 2.5mm hex wrench, so you can adjust the quantity per your preference.
