The new XDS E-spresso S2i is a great choice for an urban bike.  The robust Bafang mid-drive has 80Nm of torque – plenty to get you up the steepest of hills. The 11Ah (400Wh) frame battery is elegantly integrated into the downtube – approximately 100-120km range between charges.  Shimano Nexus 8 speed internal hub gears – ideal for city riding. Hydraulic disc brakes – excellent stopping power. Low step-through frame –  easy mounting and ideal for use with rear baby seats or high basket/crates. Upright riding position, soft saddle and suspension fork – comfortable ride. Fenders and chainguard – wear what you want and splash through puddles without a care. Large diameter, wide tyres – soak up the bumps and good grip. Aluminium frame, alloy handlebars, double wall alloy rims, stainless steel spokes – piece of mind in Newcastle’s salt air.
